Ensure that user-defined inlet values remain consistent and are not overwritten by prototype default values when minor changes are made elsewhere. This would preserve design intent during edits.
Provide step-by-step help or guidance within the software to troubleshoot and fix inlets that display as red dashed. This would help users understand and resolve issues without external support.
Drainage flex tables for referenced drainage models
Having a drainage flex table that can be used for drainage models that are referenced (this could just be physical information: ID, size, material, inverts, etc., and zoom to) would help so much in reviewing designs.
Creates drainage profiles that are static (non-dynamic) that are very quick/simple to make (15-seconds), much like SS2 was, to better enable iterative design.
For the geometry review; setting out or other OpenRoads/OpenRail tables, if we can place the table/report into DGN design model, once the geometry or model is updated, the values of the table placed in the design model is also updated dynamic. sim...
This feature is missing from any option in vertical points of annotation definitions. This is a common civil feature and seems like something that should be in the product.
Please add the option to use Civil Labeler in sheet models. For some sheets, there is no readily-apparent need to create a drawing model (e.g. for schematic-type drawings with no dimensions), so we only create a sheet model. Unfortunately, this pr...
It would be useful if some of the profile tools (quick profile from surface, profile from surface, etc) had a toggle to allow the profile to be set as active when it is created. This would make it more efficient in cases like when you need to crea...

Apply Z (elevation) corrections fro residual surface to existing elements without changing X,Y
OpenRoads Designer currently lacks a workflow to apply spatially varying Z corrections derived from a mesh to existing geometry, while preserving the X and Y coordinates. This is helpful for situations like in point‑cloud‑driven workflows, users f...
With projects needing a variety of contours at specific elevations and not simply intervals, we need a way to easily display and then export specific contours with labels as line strings.
