NYSDOT requires that all plan sets include an LFD Load Rating. Until this ability is added to LEAP Steel, we cannot adopt OpenBridge fully and must continue doing our steel design in different software.
In our office this continues to come up as a significant downside of LEAP Steel and is the main reason we still use another software for our steel beam designs.
