Remember the Last‑Used Civil Label in Civil Labeler

Description
Why it’s useful:
During plan production, users place the same label repeatedly. Requiring them to navigate the full label tree every time adds unnecessary friction and breaks workflow momentum.

Who benefits:

  • High‑volume plan production users

  • CAD technicians placing dozens or hundreds of labels per session

  • Anyone working with deeply nested label definitions

How it should work:

  • Civil Labeler reopens focused on the last label used

  • The label tree auto‑expands to that location

  • Optional setting to enable or disable this behavior

    Yes!

One great example is for cross sections. I may need to add a label of some sort to a driveway - every driveway. If I want to use Civil Labeler for intelligence, it will close every time I change model (see, every section!!) AND when I reopen Civil Labeler, I need to navigate through the entire label tree to the label I was using, reset any overrrides. Every. Single. Section.

Even plans labeling, where I may be going along and I realize I missed something, I need to reopen Civil Labeler and navigate the entire tree, etc.

    Incredibly cumbersome and time-wasting.
