In our regression workflow using OpenRoads Designer, we are very reliant on the "Undo" button to remove a segment from the complex alignment being drawn in when the solution isn't working and we need to back up and start again. This happens frequently, especially around curves. Relying on Undo is not a good workflow, due to the possibility of undoing work that is correct in order to go back far enough, and if the file is closed or compressed, then you can't undo at all, which makes removing any segment nearly impossible without dropping the alignment. I would like there to be a tool to remove a regression segment from the alignment.

Another part of our workflow involves using the Horizontal Geometry tools to find a solution where the tangent line meets the curve. The Geometry Connector tool does not work for this because it does not maintain the center point of the curve elements. The whole curve shifts, which puts it out of tolerance with the points. So we use the Line To Element tool to find the solution instead. Using this, however, involves a lot of manually adjusting the regression segments already placed in order for everything to line up. A better workflow would be to have a tool to Add the segment from the Line To Element tool to the Complex. This would save us a few steps.
