We would like to ask a PMM non-linear spring for modeling Plastic Hinges for reinforced-concrete Columns. This PMM springs are used for modeling the Moment-Rotation (M-R) behavior for different axial loads (P). The PMM spring should be able to cap...
Currently, ORD cannot process more than two attributes from a survey data file into their own unique attribute column. The workaround is tedious and unintuitive: First, modify the CSV file from the data collector (not good practice to modify a sur...
In my experience, it's common to tie a proposed vertical alignment into an existing vertical curve. This can be easily done with the geometry tools. However, the annotation is only drawn to where the proposed geometry terminates. While technically...
Can the Overhead conduits be set to apply "sag " curves for models in 3D? which means, we will need to include vertical curves when placing them between 2 nodes (eg. poles); In a real world, the conduits typically have some sag, and not as straigh...
DU conduits external wall controled by Feature Symbology
We have the option to define a template to pipes external walls, but only through the feature definition. For all other elements of the pipe, OR allows for feature symbology. From my experience, symbologys work better and are more constant.
If ditches do become channel features, KYTC would need channels to then be able to attach to other node types besides headwalls since we have many conditions and locations where they outlet into inlets of various types.
Simplfy the Interface - How many "sizes" can there be?
Object Properties - Feature Definition of a pipe is top level, its description is a pick list of diameters (TxDOT), but Utilities Properties has three different locations. This complexity is unnecessary.
For large projects, we need the ability to have multiple engineers working on the hydraulic model. We can achieve this by splitting the pipe network into multiple files and creating catchments in separate files. Doing so causes us to lose the abil...
I would like to start using RM Bridge with shell elements for transverse analysis, however, I have just found out that currently it does not provide envelope results for shell forces, this is an essential tool for live load transverse analysis.
