In OpenRoads Designer, the user is able to interactively attach a reference file containing a raster image and move the file freely within the model space once attached. Currently, only georeferenced raster imagery can be imported into ConceptStation since imported rasters must be draped on a terrain. I am proposing a feature that would allow users to interactively attach aerial imagery into ConceptStation without needing to be applied to a terrain or coordinate system.
