Currently, items in the drainage and utilities model in the project explorer appear in the order they were created. However, as element names change, items can be difficult to find especially if there are a lot of elements in the model. It would be nice to have the ability to sort, for example, all of the drainage areas to make it easier to find specific elements.

In the 2023 release, we are sorting elements and profile runs alphabetically. We have also added support in the Project Explorer for references that contain Drainage and Utilities data, so the elements and profile runs in reference files are shown as well.
Absolutely!! We used ORD to import drainage from an old inroads file with 200 plus drainage structures and it can be cumbersome to sort through and find the nodes you want. It would be nice if it could sort them, or just place them in some chronological order automatically. I even try to keep my networks together with naming conventions like IN 1-X for all inlets in drainage network 1 and IN 2-X for network 2 and so on. Then if it sorted all my networks would be easily discernable.
This would be very helpful.
