Sometimes it feels totally frustrating to work with annotations in ORD. The problem stems from the dynamic nature of ORD files. Say we have a track where we have done annotations and we took our time to specify their position and adjust them. We have also done for rail cant. But one change in stationing can disrupt everyting including annotations and even the values of rail cant, which have to be adjusted again. This creates unneccesary workload /double work.

Bentley has to rethink how to handle annotations. One possible solution could be to do so selectively and not automatically (by prompt or by commands) regarding which elements and annotations should be updated and when.
