I know if you open dynamic cross sections based off a corridor you can place temporary dimensions. but if you open a dynamic cross section based off the alignment you cannot place temporary dimension lines.
I need an easy way to get what slope a given line is in a dynamic cross section that was opened based on an alignment.
and no opening it based off a corridor is not an option since a lot of it is modeling with surface and linear templates.
I need the ability to quickly check and verify things. it shouldn't take me actually cutting a XS that I will delete just to check a slope.
If we ever want to get to model review instead of paper review this would be needed.

I agree with "and no - opening it based off a corridor is not an option" - another reason is that opening corridor based dynamic cross section views takes ages whilst the software is "Processing Stations" - whereas alignment based dynamic cross section views open and are ready to work immediately!
