First let me start by saying that I applaud the effort that is going into the development of ORD.
The recommended workflow that Bentley suggests when trying to access Civil Element Properties is to create an Item Type that harvests the information that the user is looking for. Then copy the EC expression and put that in the Property Definition's Expression.
This is counterproductive. The user should be able to access any and all of the element properties that show up in the properties window in the Reports->Objects->Selected->Include these Objects. They should not have to create an Item Type and attach it to the element just to report on the information.
I have included a picture trying to show what I am describing.
Please feel free to contact me about any questions you may have on this.

To add Geometry Points, try using "Dgn Elements" instead of "Domain Objects." That will get you access to Geometry Points properties. As far as I'm aware, there isn't an instance where an Item Type has to be created to access any field in Element Properties.
