Change Text Favorite element attachment/selections

When using text favorites that are based on an alignment (station/offset), these text favorites can break if the alignment changes or is dropped or it can't find it. As far as I know, when this happens, there is no way to reassign the text favorites to a different alignment. Instead they have to be recreated. We make a lot of labels that are based on the alignment, and have run into situations where we have lost an entire project's worth of labels due to an alignment change late in the project. I would like for there to be a way to change the element selections that the text favorite is attached to, so that these labels wouldn't need to be recreated.

I have a couple ideas as to how this could work. One option could be a tool that lets you select text, either one at a time or part of a selection set, and it lets you view which elements were selected for the fields. Then you could have a tool in that view that lets you change a specific selection.

Another idea could be to add the ability to set a specific alignment as an "Active Alignment" similar to an active profile or active terrain. Something like that could be useful for many things, but my thought would be that if text favorites pointed to an active alignment, then changing the active alignment would update all the text favorites that point to it.
