The "Set Feature Definition" Tool should be added to the Feature Definition Tool Bar rather than having to go digging around to find it. It coincides with "Match Feature Definition" which is already part of the tool bar.

Sorry, I think you have misinterpreted my suggestion. I agree that it is bad practice to draw dumb lines and then convert to geometry. That is the "Create Civil Rule Feature" tool. That is not what I am referring to at all. My suggestion relates to the "Set Feature Definition" tool which is essentially the second step after "Match feature Definition" when you are trying to change the feature definition of one Geometry to match another. The 2 tools coincide with each other, hence my suggestion to have them located in the same place. Nevertheless, it seems that 2022 R3 10.12.02.4 by Default has the 2 tools pinned to the Ribbon which is great. Still probably makes more sense to have the ability to customize (add/remove) tools on the Feature Definition toolbar, like we can with virtually every other tool bar, but this works for now.
I tend to disagree with this. I think it would actually lead to more confusion. People need to get in the habbit of using the Geometry Tools instead of drawing dumb lines and then converting to Geometry by setting a Feature Definition.... There are many reasons for this. Civil Rules, Feature Definitions, etc... This is one area where the software is well thought out imo.
