Annotate Cross Section Locations In Plan

We often want to show the location of cross section in plan which can be done using the named Boundary Lines but they need to be annotated so you know what each represents e.g. stations/chainages or section names such as letters etc. There is a workaround using Event Points but it feels like there should be an easier and more direct way of doing it.

Quickest I have handy is a screenshot from a PDF. Since I can't run InRoads SS-2 anymore, can't get to the menus to show the settings...

Teh line and station number are generated by InRoads, text find and replace to add the prefix text. Done!

We are the same, try to avoid showing locations if we can otherwise it's quite manual. I try to get away with just showing chainage markers on the alignment but in some cases it's not enough.

I will try to mock up a sketch or dig something out but it's just a line representing the location and extent of each cross section in plan with some text aligned with the line showing the section name. Maybe adding functionality to annotate the named boundaries in the 2D model with a text favourite (name of the named boundary or cross section or station?) would be the solution?

YES! The old InRoads tool to annotate cross section lines. To avoid the extra work of manually drawing and labeling the CS locations, we have been refusing to show them due to ORD taking that tool away from us.
