Currently the Create Closed Mesh Tool produces static meshes which do not update when base elements change. When any of the base elements change, the existing meshes need to be deleted and created from scratch.

We would like to see the following improvements:

1. Make boundaries dynamic / ruled

2. Make reference / base surface(s) dynamic / ruled – similar to surface templates dynamically update to terrain changes

3. Make depth of mesh parametric (if used)

These enhancements would be very useful in earthworks modelling and would save time in updating the meshes.
