The current IFC exporter only exports using the actual elements symbology and ignores Level Overrides, Reference level symbology changes, etc. This makes it very difficult to control, requiring users to actually physically edit the elements in their actual DGN. This process is impractical for users that have to use container files to export multiple DGNs at a time.
The ORD IFC exporter needs to honor the element symbology in the active view, with whatever symbology the user has set, including Level Overrides and active View settings.

Future consideration
This is so annoying. Especialy when woorking on multi disiplin projekt, where IFC cross Platform are essential, and projekt managers dont understan why we cant deliver, they are so used to high standards form software like Revit.
And if we hides something it juste totaly ingnores that, so the federated model is full of unwanted stuff. please fix this
