Currently, when one uses the create regression line from rails tool, the points that the program creates are 2D, in other words they contain only X and Y, not Z. It would be nice to create points along with the regression line that contains also information about Z, the elevation. This is extremely important when one wants to use these points as an input to work being performed with Power Rail Track (you would be surprised how many consultants are still using it), namely estimation of lateral and vertical slew, as well as creating greometry reports with Power Rail Track.
