There is currently no way to utilize multiple custom line styles (or element templates) for pipes in plan view for Drainage and Utilities so that they are tied to the drainage property and will update to the correct line style if the pipe size changes.

Although there are now (as of 10.11) ways to assign element templates to the pipe wall thicknesses and a feature symbology to the pipe center, you can't assign more than one for a particular feature definition. Our agency has a different line style for each pipe size, and currently the only way to achieve this is by drawing them in manually. We would like to have these unique custom line styles not only automatically display (so users would not have to draw them manually and then remember to redraw them if the pipe size changes during design), based upon the current system design, but also update when/if the pipe size were to change later during design. SR7001553632 was submitted to confirm this is not possible currently.

This would benefit any agency that wants to distinguish between pipe sizes (color, level, line style, etc.). Thanks!
