In the Cant Editor, there is a tool called validate data which allows you to add in your design parameters and then check against the cant the Openrail has already automatically generated.
although a good tool, i just think it would be better Openrail took into account your design parameters such as (max cant, max deficency, rate of change etc,) before it creates the cant not after as a check.
I use spreadsheets to calc all my parameters anyway, so do really use the tool as a check. but always find myself changing the cants automatically generated by openrail as they always sit outside my parameters. It would be nice for Openrail to use some logic before generating the cants

Another needed feature for the Validate Data function is the possibility to add "Preferable", "Normal" and "Exceptional" values to quickly get an idea of the performance of your design compared to the requirements in the local norm you're design against.
