U.S. surveyors traditionally work in Northing & Easting, in that order. When working with Microstation V8i, AND with Inroads loaded, the user could perform precision drafting by using the “NE= “ key-in to enter the exact northing/easting coordinates. While the “XY= “ key-in has always been available in V8i, the surveyor would then constantly need to mentally reverse their entry to an easting/northing format. Frustrating. Please bring back the “NE= “ key-in.

Even if the SO= needs to be a command with a dialog to select the alignment to use and then allow the S-O keyins or browse and select a text file to import.
Please see the attached video difference in the tool between ORD and Legacy. The ability to write the information and control what is written to the file is my request.
Adding from another idea merged here:
Bring back the SS2 tracking tools that allowed seeing NE, Sta, Off, Elev, etc and the ability to write that into the file when snapped. The equivalent for profiles as well
Also bring back the "SO=" keyin
