When creating cut and fill meshes in ORD it creates the meshes for the entire design file. This applies a feature definition for both the cut and fill meshes that only allow for one applied shrink/swell rate. It would be helpful to be able to apply different feature definitions to the cut and fill meshes that have different shrink/swell rates. On large grading projects, it is not uncommon to have different types of material with different shrinkage rates. The only current work around to this is to create separate DGN files that have unique cut and fill meshes with each file having it's own assigned feature definition for the shrink rate. Then you need to create another container DGN file and reference all of the needed separate cut and fill meshes to do any reporting. This was never an issue with InRoads using end area method calculations as you could assign different station ranges with different shrink values. I'd like to see an ability to create cut and fill meshes by named boundary so that you can assign different feature definitions to the meshes as needed.
