The current desktop icons are the same color for all versions and is confusing with multiple versions installed. If the icons for each version was a different color for each release it would make for quicker identification of version.

Thank you for your feedback on our product icons. We have chosen to maintain consistency in icons within each version of a single product. While we understand the desire for unique icons, creating new icons for each version is not currently in our immediate plans. However, we appreciate your input and ideas, which play a crucial role in shaping our products. Please continue sharing your suggestions and concerns in our forum.
I agree that minimally a version number on the icon would be of great help. We run four different version of ORD based on what DOT standard the project is associated with. When pinned to the start menu it is confusing for employee to remember which one is which.
I agree with guest suggestion. Right now, 3 icons for the major version. In a couple of years, it will be more.
Or add version number as is following icon files.
Icons with numbers seemed to be well received on communities.
