When a corridor clip is applied, the 2D geometry is not affected by that corridor clip, only the 3d mesh is clipped. I would like an option to choose whether you'd also like to clip the 2D geometry.

Model-centric design at skewed bridges. When modeling corridors and using template point features that have Create (2D) template geometry set to true. The 2D feature lines are not clipped as part of the 'add corridor clipping' objects. This would come in useful when you have skewed bridge limits to subtract from both the plans and quantities of the design. I believe the Corridor component objects in 3D now honors or subtracts the clippings references, however the template 2D lines do not. Could they not create interval elements like other civil geometry?
Hi James, was about to create the same idea..
Glad I found out it already exists.
By the way, your suggestions won't work for us. We really need this to be a part of the tool.
You will probably have to draw a MicroStation Shape element and use that to mask it.
Hi James, thanks for the tip.
I've tried Clip mask, or Clip Volume, and they both indicate: Element is not valid for tool
I've searched in the Search Ribbon for a Clip View command, but there is no such thing in ORD
Try doing a Clip View. Does that meet your needs?
