We use reports to gennerate dynamic point tables which can be placed on drawings. Some drawings have several different point tables which require different information. There is currently no simple way to have multiple different point tables in a drawing which give different information based on the feature definition of the different points. For example, if we want a dynamic point table for bollard locations with only northings and eastings, and in the same drawing, we want a point table for finished grading set out points which also includes elevation, there is currently no way to filter which points go into which table, so "all" the points just get added to both tables. T the easy fix would be to have an option to "filter by" feature definition that can be added to the report properties. For example, the finished grade point table would have a filter to only use points with the "finished grade point" feature definition, and the bollards table would have a filter to only use points with the "bollard point" feature definition.
