When creating a profile Named Boundary, there is no option to set a starting or stopping elevation, or an elevation range. It's a bit of a black box how that is determined by the software, and we need more control.
It's entirely possible to create a profile drawing earlier in the process than receiving all of the potential data. I may need a "non-optimized" boundary placed because I know I will be receiving information that is substantially lower than the rest of my data. I may be asked to provide a profile that covers a specific elevation range to match it to other people's profiles.
There is no way to control the specific elevation range of a profile named boundary. We might be able to adjust profile boundaries after placement, but that is extra steps and extra work.
