When a dgn contains lots graphics in the active dgn and reference files, I often find it challenging to select the desired alignment for various tools (e.g. tracking, laying out sheets, etc..).

to make this easier, I propose that Bentley provide a toggle that lets users choose between "Select ALL" or "Select Alignments ONLY" options. When the toggle is set to "select alignments only" then ONLY geometry with feature definition set to "alignment" would be available for selecting when using tools that require selection (all other graphics would be ignored).
