Include LFD Design Code for Superstructure in LEAP Steel
LFD design code is used in superstructure rehabilitation projects for bridges that are originally designed with LFD. Please consider making it an option in LEAP Steel similar to LEAP concrete.
I have been hoping for this feature for years. in NY we cannot use Leap Steel for our steel beam designs because NYSDOT requires all new bridges be load rated in both LRFD and in LFD.
and yes, most load ratings of existing structures for rehabilitation are done in LFD.
