There are some regression tools that were ported from openRail into openRoads in previous releases. However, they didn't port every regression tool. Most notably, they did not port the Vertical regression tools for creating a regressed profile. We definitely could use this tool for our workflow. Right now we rely on an overlay vertical adjusted profile, which is based on a minimum depth and does not represent the true profile. It would change our workflow if we could take the surveyed points of a road centerline and draw a regressed profile from them.
I would like to see all of the regression tools available in OpenRail to be included in OpenRoads as well.

Add all the regression tools from OpenRail to OpenRoads
Regression Points Table - Provides tabular display of regression points.
Regression Complex Table - Displays the components of the regression complex geometry.
Add to Regression Complex - Adds selected geometry to the regression complex.
Reset Slew Values - Resets/removes existing slew values to 0.00 for recalculation. Resets slew graphic representation.
Change Regression Complex - Replaces the existing regression complex with the selected geometry complex.
2. An improved regression report:
Additional data we would like to see in a report. The regression points with the offset, weight, and status, along with the slew to the calculated line or geometry. Also, the difference between the offset and the slew. The report would also need the final calculated line or geometry.
3. The ability to use Survey Points and Lines for regression and to equate the survey and geometry elements to the regression elements in the report.
