The "Text View Readable" option for Civil Laballer and Annotation Manager/groups respects only the model Active Angle. Refer to my case CS0042880 for more info.
It should be a dynamic function that always respect the view, so no matter from which angle or how we view the text, it will always be readable (AutoCAD/Civil 3D works this way).
If you think about it that is what the name of the option suggests. Almost a year with support to find out that it doesn`t respect the view, but the Active Angle..
If the dynamic function is too far off, the option should at least respect the active ACS angle.. It would make a lot more sense.

Totally agree. Similar to my Idea which was also submitted as a "Service request" but they have notified me that it works as designed and closed the request haha. Exact response Below.

"This appears to be a misunderstanding of how the annotation works, caused by the fact that the term "View Readable" is used to mean different things in the Civil Labeler and Annotation Manager. Setting View Readable in the Annotation Manager ensures that the annotation is always placed in a readable orientation with respect to the Active Angle of the drawing, not the rotation of the display, like this. In any event, annotations do not re-evaluate or redraw themselves when the display is rotated.
