In many circumstances superelevation cannot be easily defined by superelevation points, i.e. tie-ins to existing crossfall, extension of adjacent carriageway crossfalls, eg. ramps, intersections, etc.
In these circumstances users need to use linear geometry to drape onto surfaces, extend crossfall etc. and perhaps use Point Controls, etc. that disconnects from the application of Superelevation Lanes, etc. This is also a problem when we want to display Superelevation information on Profiles, etc.
A solution to this would be to add functionality to link a superelevation lane to the crossfall between 2 linear geometry elements (over specific station ranges). Only the start and end of these "projected crossfalls" would need to be annotated on Profiles, with a new Superelevation Point Type to clarify its source.
