Currently, the graphic representing the superelevation section is hard coded to use the radius of the smallest curve in the alignment. If the radius of the smallest curve is 50 meters or more, the section width is hard-coded to 50 meters.
If the radius of the smallest curve is less than 50, the section width = radius of the curve.
So here's a few examples:
Smallest R = 10 (Width = 10)
Smallest R = 40 (Width = 40)
Smallest R = 50 (Width = 50)
Smallest R = 100 (Width = 50)
If the alignment contains any very small radius curves (such as 0.01 not even in the range of the super section ), the width then of the section falls to 0.01 and the section effectively disappears, causing it to be unusable.
