Currently when you select a surface template in 3D view, a ghost mesh element under the "Default" level appears. I believe this element defines the surface template as a whole. There is presently no way of controlling this element to assign it a feature definition or level according to project standards, when you create a new Surface Template.
When we run our Data check tools, this l is always reporting as missing attribute data and this creates unnecessary holdups in the model checking process. It would be beneficial project wide to have a centrally controlled level/feature definition in the DGNLIB which would eliminate this issue
