Many time when desining earthworks or roads we`re have to create retaning walls to respect the site boundaries.

The soluntion depends on if it`s a cut (anchors, soil naisl, ..) or fill areas (seinforced soil walls, slope reinforcement, mass gravity).

For conecpt design, we can work with a linear template (for really preliminar stages). Anytihing more advanced and we have no option but to move to other softwares (Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCad, ..) or even 2D over a profile view or something.

But we loose any connection to the project since our desing in OpenRoads/Site defines everything. Any modification and we have to do redoo.

A tool that we could define the solutions types (strenght of anchor or soil reforcement) that would depend on the profile height at the point.

A tool that we could define the embankment necessary and it would adjust the objects (gabion boxes) to match.

A tool that would generate an elevation view along the profile of the wall.

The list goes on..

Let us do this kind of design to the end. BIM is a must, Plaxis 3D and LE integration is a dream.
